Hello, I’m Monica Elizabeth! I’m a Texas girl through and through and so proud to call Dallas my home. I’m also the illustrator and creative behind The Great Invitation.
In college, I studied graphic design and spent several years working as an art director before deciding to take a big leap and pursue something I had always dreamed of — building a creative business of my own. I wanted to turn my love for illustration, paper, and beautiful design into something tangible, and that’s how The Great Invitation came to be!
The Great Invitation is an online-exclusive boutique specializing in weddings, parties, and special occasions. I love creating pieces that feel personal, joyful, and completely unique to the people they’re made for. I’m so grateful to get to do what I love every day and to create beautiful things for some of life’s sweetest celebrations.
As a mom of three and part of a beautiful blended family, I’m surrounded by a variety of personalities, quirks, and little things that inspire me every day. I love finding ways to weave those pieces of the people I love into my creations. My hope is that every design feels like a little piece of my heart — and a little piece of my family — made just for you.
